IMPLANTATION DESIGN

The design prior to hair transplant is made at the doctor’s office. It is one of the most important processes when performing a hair transplant, since it will shape the face.
Hair is an individual characteristic of each patient, so the hair transplant must be adapted to the unique needs of each individual. The facial geometry of each person should be taken into account.
The objective is to give an appearance that will seem as natural as possible and totally undetectable.

The doctor draws the frontal implantation line or the crown (for the crowns we just follow the pattern spirally), in mutual agreement with the patient and always respecting their personal anatomy.

Our objectives are NATURAL ASPECT (unnoticeable hair transplant) and SATISFACTION OF EVERY PATIENT.

FRONTAL HAIR IMPLANTATION LINE and TEMPORARY POINTS

We will be looking for a natural frontal implantation line. We must achieve a mature hairline, in line with the patient’s age. The frontal hairline varies from person to person according to the size and proportion of the face and the shape of the head of each person.
That's why the design is individual. The doctor makes several designs, looking for the satisfaction and approval of each patient.

The frontal hairline should not be straight, since this would give the person a very artificial look; it should instead have micro- and macro-irregularities with follicular units of 1 hair.

The implantation angle varies according to the areas in which it is implanted. At the front-central level, the angle is increased from 45 to 60 degrees as it is implanted from the frontal to the occipital areas. At the front-temporal level (temples), the angle is reduced sharply.

The density is greater at the frontal level and, as it is centred, the density is homogeneously balanced using follicular units of 2, 3 and 4 hairs.

VERTEX or CROWN

Specific angles are used imitating the natural spiral shape.
Many follicular units are necessary to achieve good results, especially those with 2 and 3 hairs.
The patient must control and stabilise their baldness so that hair loss of the non-transplanted areas occurs slowly.
